Stake in the sand

Okay, after spending some time with my sewing machine I'm putting a stake in the sand. Before school starts at the beginning of August I'm going to finish 4 on going easy sewing quilts.

1. One a Day Nine Patch - Crazy Mom Quilt Along
2. Old Red Barn Quilt Along
3. Turquoise Square in a Square
4. HourGlass bed quilt from last summer

I will finish these by the time the Munchkins board the bus on the first day of school in August.

Speaking of stakes, I've been rewatching Buffy while I've been treadmilling since January. It truly is a great series and mythology. Just recently at a friend's house for game night, a discussion (after a few glasses of wine) happened. A very intelligent and adult examination of the blending of the vampire mythologies of Buffy, Twilight, and Sookie Stackhouse. And of course we discussed which vampire we would pick, Angel, Spike, Edward, Bill, or Eric.

Y'all take care, and hopefully after this weekend I'll some fun pictures of my sewing progress.
